Ben Hudson

Owner/Editor

Armed with a journalism degree from TCU and an honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy, Ben Hudson started TRACK Magazine in 1975. Since that time, it’s doubtful that anyone has seen more major American Quarter Horse races live than he has. An award-winning writer and photographer, he is a member of the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame.

Christine Hudson

Co-Owner and Art Director

This multiple-talented woman has been Ben’s wife for nearly 30 years. She breeds, foals and races American Quarter Horses at the highest level; designs, creates, and markets stunning jewelry. She still shoots photos, designs ads and oh, so much more. And in early 2026, she received the AQHA’s prestigious Millie Vessels Award.

Mark Herron

Associate Editor and Photojournalist

With a Texas A & M Ag journalism degree in hand, Mark joined the TRACK Magazine staff in 1980. In addition to his award-winning writing, photography and ad creations for the magazine and THE MONDAY REPORT, Mark covers racing wherever it happens. He is one of the most informed and friendliest people in the business.

Staci Foix

Advertising Director

Since 1999, Staci has been turning on her TRACK Magazine computer nearly every morning to write copy, design ads, create editorial layouts, coordinate the printing of the magazine and so much more. Ben Hudson says he has "never thrown Staci a ball she could not hit." After earning her degree, Staci has worked in print media since 1991.

Elizabeth Craft

Director of Special Operations

In 2023, Elizabeth joined the TRACK Magazine staff while attending Tarleton State University in nearby Stephenville. After graduating in 2026, she joined the staff full time. This young woman from a Clarendon, Texas, ranching family is now doing a little of everything for us and keeps this operation running smoothly.

Regina Hadlock

Associate Photographer

After retiring from a major insurance company several years ago, Regina took up photography. Now ranked among the best equine action photographers in the country, Regina and her Nikons can be found somewhere almost every weekend shooting photos of people and horses for the next issue of TRACK Magazine and THE MONDAY REPORT.

Taylor Rankin

Associate Graphic Designer/Editor

Ranch raised in South Texas, Taylor earned her degree in ag communications with a minor in Advertising from Texas Tech University. Before bringing her graphic design, branding, publication layout and social media skills to TRACK in early 2016, Taylor handled similar tasks for a livestock publication for nearly a decade.
