TRACK Magazine is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We believe that every fan of quarter horse racing deserves equal access to our content, coverage, and services.
 

Standards We Aim to Meet

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.
 

Measures We Have Taken

In building and maintaining qhracing.com, we have worked to implement the following accessibility features:

• Sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds throughout the site

• Text that can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality

• Alt text descriptions on meaningful images

• Keyboard navigability for core site functions

• Clear page structure using heading hierarchy

• Descriptive link text that makes sense out of context

• Forms with labeled fields for subscription and contact purposes
   

Known Limitations

We acknowledge that some areas of our site may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards, including:

• PDF sale result documents, which are generated by third parties and may not be fully screen-reader accessible. We are working to improve these over time.

• Embedded video content hosted on Vimeo, which is subject to Vimeo's own accessibility features and captioning availability.

• The interactive flipbook magazine viewer, which is provided by a third-party platform and has limited accessibility support.
   

We are actively working to address these limitations as resources allow.

Our site is designed to work with the following assistive technologies:

• Screen readers, including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver

• Keyboard-only navigation

• Browser zoom and text resizing
